While the opera is the only version of the story we've gotten so far, it looks like there is a version floating around that seems a bit closer to what we expect based on the prologue. That really makes me wonder how a story of Heterodyne conquest could be problematic in Mechanicsburg. Maybe they're suckers for Storm King stories just like everyone else, and don't want to remember that their Heterodynes caused his downfall. More likely there's a lot more to the story. So many tantalizing details!
